Today we are offering
a "Walking Tour" (minus any ads or pop-ups to slow you down) of
this week's Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter. (You can bypass the "Walking Tour" and jump right
to the PWTorch.com "Main Listing" of articles by clicking
here.)
This is an introduction
to the Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter featuring a "Walking Tour"
through Torch Newsletter #798, cover-dated February 21, 2004.
This "Torch Newsletter Walking Tour" includes screen captures
of all 12 pages of the Feb. 21, 2004 edition with a description
of what each page contains. The actual content of the Torch Newsletter
is available via home delivery of the actual paper copy or online
through a Torch VIP ESub.
This "Walking Tour" is a way to give you the flavor for what a
typical edition of the Torch Newsletter features. Each week's
newsletter is a bit different. Some weeks there is more or less
space dedicated to news, or more or less space dedicated to features.
But overall, this walking tour gives you a good idea of what a
Torch Newsletter entails.
The Torch Newsletter is not just a compilation of articles from
PWTorch.com. In fact, other than abbreviated "for the record"-style
TV, house show, and PPV results sidebar summaries, there is no
crossover content that is also available to readers of the public
version of PWTorch.com.
The weekly Torch Newsletter has been published since 1987. It
has evolved greatly over the years. You can see some historical
Torch Newsletter covers dating back to the '80s by clicking
here.
The Torch Newsletter has been a leader in breaking news and providing
insight and analysis on the fascinating pro wrestling industry
for well over 15 years. The Torch Newsletter staff consists of
editor Wade Keller, assistant editor Jason Powell, and columnists
Bruce Mitchell, Pat McNeill, and James Guttman. There are contributors
to PWTorch.com who also contribute to the Torch Newsletter occasionally,
such as media reviewer Tony Batalla.
As proud as we are of the great content at PWTorch.com, the big
stage for our best work, the majority of our insider backstage
information, our most in-depth features, and our first-run "Torch
Talk" interviews has always been and remains the Torch Newsletter.
There are two ways to access and read the great exclusive content
of each week's 12 page Torch Newsletter. One subscription package
includes weekly home delivery of the paper copy of the Torch Newsletter,
or you can save money by skipping the print copy (we call them
"ESubs") and reading the newsletter online.
All Torch Subscriptions (even if you pay for home delivery of
the paper copy) come with online access to the each edition of
the Torch Newsletter articles. Most of the Torch Newsletter is
put online at the VIP members-only website on Tuesday or Wednesday
each week. The final few articles are then made available on line
within a few weeks. There are always four or five editions of
the Torch Newsletter online at any given time (plus a growing
list of over 100 full back issue from the '90s with two new complete
editions added each week to the VIP Archives).
-Tell me more about the Torch VIP/Newsletter Membership with home
delivery of the print copy of the Torch Newsletter: Torch
Full VIP/Newsletter Subscription Info. (Sub prices range between
$1.75-$2.25 per week for full package - more outside of U.S. to
cover additional postage expenses.)
-Tell me more about the Torch VIP ESub Membership option, which
saves me money by skipping the actual home delivery of the paper
copy of the Torch Newsletter. I understand I will still have a
chance to read the weekly Torch Newsletter online. Torch
