TNA house show results
January 26, 2012
Nottingham, England
Report by Craig Rushmer, PWTorch reader in England

(1) Douglas Williams beat Gunner. Good first match. Good heat for Gunner, a lot of pro-England chants for Williams, and a "You Suck" chant for Gunnder. Williams won with a double roll-up.

(2) Samoa Joe vs. TNA tag champion Crimson went to a double count-out. Earl Hebner was referee - good heat for Earl. The crowd loved Joe. Okay match leading to the double count-out finish. They kept fighting up to the top of the ramp after the match.

(3) X Division champion Austin Aries beat Alex Shelley and Mark Haskins in a three-way match to retain the X Division Title. Strong match. Aries won when Shelley was on the floor. Aries played to the crowd well, Haskins was good, and there was great energy. Solid match.

(4) Knockouts champion Gail Kim beat Madison Rayne,Tara, and Mickie James in a four-way match to retain the Knockouts Title. Okay match, but not for me, so I got a t-shirt priced a £20. In the end, Gail used a belt shot to retain.

(5) A.J. Styles beat Bully Ray. After five minutes of comedy, acting, and taunting the crowd, the match started with a lot of heat for Bully. The crowd really wanted Styles to win. I thought this could have been better.

(6) James Storm beat TNA World Hvt. champion Robert Roode via DQ; Roode retained the TNA World Title. Okay start, then Roode low-blowed Storm for the DQ.

Sting came out to re-start the match, but Kurt Angle came out to suggest a tag match. Bully Ray then came out to ask for a three-on-two match. Hulk Hogan then came out to "Eye of the Tiger" and made it three-on-three. The crowd was loving this.

(7) Hulk Hogan & Sting & James Storm beat TNA World Hvt. champion Robert Roode & Kurt Angle & Bully Ray in a six-man tag match. Storm won the match for his team. Then, the beers were out for Storm. Hogan then brought out water for Sting to spray Storm. Afterward, Storm cut a promo claiming Hogan and Sting were the reason why the fans were all there. Good night all-around.
