Although not as frequent, Nick Hogan's car crash continues to be the subject of various newspaper and website articles week after the crash. The Naples Daily News wrote an article, headlined: "Nick Bollea was clearly speeding toward trouble in the months prior to his Aug. 26 high-speed crash in Clearwater that critically injured a passenger." Bollea, the son of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan and a star of the family’s reality show, “Hogan Knows Best,’’ was given a ticket for driving 115 mph on Interstate 75 east of Naples on Sept. 17, 2006. What makes the ticket remarkable is Bollea’s account, as told to Rides Magazine for its September issue, that he received two warnings from state troopers in Collier County minutes before he was ticketed, once for doing 107 mph and again for 113: Article Link
