By Chris Vetter

Torch Indy Reporter Chris Vetter travels thousands of miles each year to see dozens of indy shows all over the Midwest. His reports covering the entire U.S. Indy Scene are usually published exclusively here at PWTorch.com every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

WEEKEND RESULTS, NEWS & NOTES

AAW packed in 250 to 300 people Saturday for their huge annual “Windy City Classic III” show, which saw Danny Daniels turn heel and side with Jerry Lynn’s heel faction. Results are below. Learn more at www.aawwrestling.com.

Planet Championship Wrestling in Florida had their huge show on Saturday that featured Sabu, Apollo, the Nasty Boys, Kip James, Norman Smiley and Big Vito. Results are below. Learn more at http://planetchampionshipwrestling.com.

IWA Mid-South made yet another last-minute cancellation, as they decided not to hold their “strong-style tournament” over the weekend. The promotion is planning to run Dec. 7 & 8, then will take some time off to re-organize.

In other news…

Chikara’s season finale last week ended early because of an injury to Lince Dorado in the second-to-last match. So, Chikara has added a free show on Dec. 9 so they can wrap up their ‘season’ with the much anticipated Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chris Hero matchup. Details are below.

Too Cold Scorpio has canceled his appearance in EWF on Dec. 1.

The long-awaited Shimmer tournament DVDs are now on sale! Purchase them at www.rohwrestling.com. This looks like some really good women’s action.

And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
