By Chris Vetter

Torch Indy Reporter Chris Vetter travels thousands of miles each year to see dozens of indy shows all over the Midwest. His reports covering the entire U.S. Indy Scene are usually published exclusively here at PWTorch.com every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

WEEKEND RESULTS, NEWS & NOTES

In Jersey All Pro on Saturday, B-Boy won a three-way in his final JAPW match. Homicide & Hernandez also retained the tag titles in a three-way. This huge show also featured A.J. Styles defeating Chris Hero.

In IWA Mid-South on Friday, Eddie Kingston won the heavyweight title in a four-way, and Mickie Knuckles defeated Ian Rotten in Rotten’s retirement match. Sandman and Too Cold Scorpio competed on this show. This was the 499th show in IWA-MS history. However, the promotion is going to take the rest of the winter off and (hopefully!) return in March.

Sandman won the IWC heavyweight title on Saturday, and Daivari made a surprise appearance at the IWC show near Pittsburgh on Saturday. IWC had a legit paid of 478 on Friday and 828 on Saturday. I’m reading great reviews about the IWC double-header; check out those results below. Just look at the roster IWA used over these two days! It includes: Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Homicide, Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin, Shane Douglas, 2 Cold Scorpio, Low Ki and Delirious. Looks like a great couple days of wrestling. Learn more at www.iwcwrestling.com.

As always, CZW packed in the fans for its big year-end finale, “Cage of Death,” and results of that hardcore-based show are below. Not my preferred style of action, but CZW always does well with this show.

And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
