MIDWEEK NEWS & NOTES

Welcome back! I continue to be wayyy too busy in my non-wrestling life, so I apologize for the delay in getting these results up. I went to a very good F1rst Wrestling show on Sunday in Minneapolis, Minn., and those results are below. F1rst Wrestling will be back in action on Friday, March 28, featuring Jerry Lynn vs. Al Snow.

I’ve posted some results from a TNA house show on Saturday in Elmira, N.Y., with Kurt Angle defeating Christian Cage in the main event. This looks like a strong house show, and the crowd was estimated between 1,500 and 2,000, which is about half the size of when WWE ran in the same building in January. It looks like a good night of wrestling.

In Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Human Tornado regained the PWG World Title in a match against Roderick Strong and Karl Anderson. Results are below. Austin Aries missed the show because of bad weather in New York (after the ROH shows), so Frankie Kazarian was a last-minute replacement.

In Montreal on Sunday in ISW, El Generico scored a pinfall at 14:59 – one second before a time-limit draw. Results are below.

Indy wrestler Colin Olson (better known as Colin Delaney!) has now signed a WWE contract, and he is off the Chikara shows this weekend. Congrats to him.

And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
