WEEKEND PREVIEW, NEWS & NOTES

Welcome back, everyone! The big news this weekend is that, for the first time in two years, ROH is running a “triple shot” with shows tonight, Saturday, and the PPV taping on Sunday. The lineups – what matches are known of it – are below. Tonight and Saturday are in Dover, N.J. Filming for the movie “the Wrestler” will occur at both shows. (If you recall, footage for the movie also was done at a JAPW show earlier this year.)

In Northeast Wrestling on Saturday in Torrington, Conn., in a ‘first-time-ever’ matchup, Booker T will face A.J. Styles.

Chris Hero, Jimmy Jacobs and El Generico are in Europe this weekend and will not be part of the ROH festivities. Info on those shows are below.

After a lengthy hiatus, Cleveland All Pro is back in action on Saturday in Lakewood, Ohio, featuring Matt Cross.

In other news…

Raven will be in Europe and has canceled his appearance on the UWX show in Florida on March 29. The UXW show is at 2 p.m. in Orlando, allowing fans to attend both this event and the ROH show that night. Jake Roberts has been signed to replace Raven on the card.
