By Chris Vetter

Torch Indy Reporter Chris Vetter travels thousands of miles each year to see dozens of indy shows all over the Midwest. His reports covering the entire U.S. Indy Scene are usually published exclusively here at PWTorch.com every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

WEEKEND RESULTS, NEWS & NOTES

Welcome back! I now have results from both ROH shows over the weekend, plus the big IWC “Night of Legends” show and the IWA Mid-South double-header in the Midwest.

At the IWC show, Brutus “the Barber” Beefcake defeated Greg “the Hammer” Valentine (w/Jimmy Hart in the main event. The show also featured Abdullah the Butcher, Virgil, Marty Jannetty, Demolition and more. Learn more at www.iwcwrestling.com.

Eugene Dinsmore was advertised for National Wrestling Superstars on Saturday in Carteret, N.J., but he missed the show because of travel difficulties. Scotty Too Hotty took his spot in the main event against former ECW regular Danny Doring. Results are below.

Sandman was reportedly quite drunk at the 2CW show Saturday in Syracuse, N.Y., according to reports I received from the show. The match was said to be exceptionally sloppy, and Spike Dudley had to coax him to leave the ring afterward. Results are below. The show drew between 325 and 350, however.

Eddie Kingston missed the IWA Mid-South shows over the weekend, and he was stripped of the title. Results of both shows are below.

In other news…

Former WWE “Heart Throb” Romeo Roselli has suffered a torn ACL and is out of action.

And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
