Torch Indy Reporter Chris Vetter sees dozens of indy shows all over the Midwest, and regularly watches & reviews indy DVDs. His reports covering the entire U.S. Indy Scene are usually published exclusively here at PWTorch.com every Monday and Friday.
WEEKEND PREVIEW, NEWS & NOTES
AAW is back in action on Saturday in suburban Chicago, featuring Jerry Lynn vs. Eric Priest, and matches with Jimmy Jacobs, Zach Gowen and Arik Cannon.
I will be at the F1rst Wrestling show tonight in Minneapolis, featuring the best indy wrestlers on the Minnesota scene. If you are a Twin Cities-area Torch reader and haven’t been to an indy show in a while, you need to check out one of the F1rst shows! The First Avenue night club really is an ideal location to watch wrestling.
In other news…
Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has announced a stellar lineup for its show on July 6th, featuring Chris Hero, Human Tornado, El Generico, Jay Briscoe, Roderick Strong & Jack Evans, and the return of PWG favorite Chris Bosh, who has been absent for a full year. It looks like a great show. Learn more at www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com.
I will be on vacation all of next week, so this will be your final indy report for about 10 days! I should come back tanned and ready to report on all the indy news going on, when I’m back on June 30th.
And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
