WEEKEND PREVIEW, NEWS & NOTES
The preview comes a day early, with the Independence Day holiday tomorrow!
First up is the annual “Basebrawl” show for International Wrestling Cartel, in Ellsworth, Penn. The show follows a baseball game. The lineup this year features Delirious, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Shark Boy. The full lineup is below, and learn more at www.iwcwrestling.com.
Shimmer Women’s Athletes has another taping on Saturday in Berwyn, Ill. As with the recent shows, the lineup is a mystery, but promoter Dave Prazak always puts together a great show that can run 5 hours or more, as there are two back-to-back tapings. This is tapings #19 and #20. The lineup features MsChif, Nikki Roxx (Roxxi Leveaux), Sara Del Rey, Amazing Kong, Rain, Jetta, Mercedes Martinez, Portia Perez, Serena Deeb, Daizee Haze, Allison Danger, Cheerleader Melissa, Ariel and more.
On Sunday, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is back in action with perhaps the best lineup of the weekend, featuring Human Tornado vs. Chris Hero, Jack Evans & Roderick Strong vs. Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black, Jay Briscoe vs. El Generico. Learn more at www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com.
In other news…
Balls Mahoney and Doug Basham are on tour with Irish Whip Wrestling in Ireland. The tour covers nine dates from July 3 through July 13th across Ireland.
And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
