While most people are at Christmas parties or parking in front of the TV watching the SEC championship game or the second-place game in the Big 12, pro wrestling has its unofficial biggest night of the year on the independent scene. WWE, TNA, and ROH are also running house shows tonight.

There are many loaded line-ups across the board headlined by tonight's show in Charlotte featuring Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan. Here's a break down of where you can find great independent wrestling in your area tonight.

- Florence, S.C. - WWE's Smackdown and ECW crews travel to South Carolina this weekend, with a show tonight at the Florence Civic Center featuring WWE champion Triple H & The Undertaker vs. Edge & Vladimir Koslov in the advertised main event. Also, ECW champion Matt Hardy vs. Jack Swagger and a weird one with U.S. champion Shelton Benjamin vs. Great Khali. Ticket and event details.

- Lawrenceburg, Ky. - TNA concludes its weekend tour prior to the Final Resolution PPV in Orlando with a main event match of Kurt Angle & Scott Steiner vs. A.J. Styles & Samoa Joe. Also, Rhino vs. Cute Kip, Beer Money vs. LAX, and X Division champion Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Abyss. The event at the Eagle Lake Convention Center starts at 8:00 p.m. EST. Event details.

- Nashville, Tenn. - After debuting in St. Louis last night (we're looking for a report), ROH debuts in TNA's home base of Nashville with Nigel McGuinness vs. Jerry Lynn for the ROH Title and Austin Aries & Necro Butcher vs. Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black in a grudge match. Event starts at 7:30 p.m. on campus at Vanderbilt University. Event details.

- Charlotte, N.C. - Highspots.com presents the Ric Flair tour with Flair managing his sons, Reid and David, in the main event match against the Nasty Boys. Jimmy Hart will be in the Nasty corner, while Hulk Hogan is special referee. VIP entry is at 6:00 p.m. to meet with Flair. Event starts at 7:30 p.m. at Vance High School. A VIP winner will receive a post-show limo ride with Flair and Hogan. Event details

- Green Bay, Wisc. - The NWA continues its under-the-radar tour of North America with Kevin Nash headlining against NWA Wisconsin champion Mason Quinn. VIP tickets include a meet-and-greet with Kevin Nash. The event at the Watering Hole starts at 8:00 p.m. Event details

- Freehold, N.J. - Who's Slamming Who presents a WWE vs. TNA divas/knockouts match with former WWE diva Cherry facing Roxxi on the card. Also, former WWE wrestler Nunzio faces Josh Daniels and former WCW wrestler Crowbar faces former ECW wrestler Danny Doring. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for the event at the 3-2 Count Athletic Center.

- Yonkers, N.Y. - The Sandman is being advertised for his final wrestling match the Pro Wrestling Syndicate show also featuring the Iron Sheik, Terri Runnels, and former WWE Heartbreaker Romeo Roselli. The event on Saturday night, Dec. 6 takes place at the Yonkers PAL Building with a 7:00 p.m. meet-and-greet scheduled prior to the 8:00 p.m. show. Ticket information is available here.

- Webster, Mass. - Justin Credible returns to the ring at the Big Time Wrestling show featuring John Cena, Sr. Credible will be appearing along with Brother Runt (Spike Dudley), and Dangerous Danny Davis. Credible is booked against former ROH Pure champion John Walters. Event at the Webster Town Hall starts at 7:30 p.m. Event details.
