"The Rock" Dwayne Johnson says the last movie that made him cry was "The Wrestler." Johnson revealed the soft side of his personality in an interview with Access Hollywood promoting his new movie, "Race to Witch Mountain," that opens next Friday.

"Typically if I see a movie that makes me cry, like heart-wrenching crying, I’m like ‘God I don’t want to do that!'" Johnson said. Darren Aronofsky's movie about pro wrestling was the last movie to generate that kind of response.

Johnson misses the physicality in pro wrestling, so he enjoyed filming action scenes in the new Disney movie.

"I love physicality and it’s been a while since I have gone back to the genre because I was just waiting for the right opportunity," Johnson said. "The action in this was a great opportunity for me to kick some ass."

Disney endorsing Johnson has given him an opportunity to be the next major action star, especially with families. WWE star John Cena said earlier this week that he would like the same recognition in Hollywood.

Johnson and Cena are seeking roles where they can play an "everyday guy turned hero." Johnson said the role is essential for drawing a wider audience that can buy into the movie.

"I loved the idea of playing the guy who’s unlikely of being the hero and he gets the opportunity to touch greatness and that greatness is saving the world," Johnson said. "I like all kinds of movies, but when family movies are done correctly, every family member can relate to someone on that screen."
