MSNBC just ran an update with a clip of a gray-haired Hulk Hogan on the stand in a Florida courtroom looking to get some of his money since his assets were frozen during his divorce proceedings with his longtime wife Linda. Hogan is asking for $3,000 a month for living expenses and lawyer bills for the personal injury lawsuit against his son Nick.

The story showed Hogan getting into a shouting match with his wife's lawyer, Raymond Rafool. "Are you going to wrestle with me here? Are you going to come across the cameras? Then be quiet. Be quiet. Be quiet. You had your time to talk. You're done. You're done!" The footage showed Hogan talking at the same time as the attorney, but the mic wasn't as close to him.

Keller's Analysis: Man, how the mighty have fallen. Seeing Hogan with gray hair, pulled back into a pony tail, basically begging for a mere $3,000 a month to pay his bills is pretty shocking in the context of a career where he probably made well over $50 million and had more than $20 saved at one point. But in this stock market, that can be sliced in half if he invested conservatively. Throw in a divorce, split that in half and he's potentially around $5 million. Throw in property taxes and house payments on gaudy properties, and then lawyer fees, even with merchandise and syndicated residual checks coming in from a variety of sources, he's hardly filthy rich even if his funds weren't frozen. The situation with his son Nick's reckless driving car wreck ("car accident" hardly describes it) may be what breaks him in more ways than one.

By the way, I was skeptical of their divorce at the beginning when I at least suspected it was a publicity stunt. I think it's very, very, very safe to say right now there is nothing fake about the divorce.
