Andrew "Test" Martin may have died before Friday when his body was discovered inside his Tampa, Fla. apartment. Amy Patterson, the neighbor who requested a wellness check in Martin's apartment, says she saw him in the same position on Thursday.

"His feet were flat on the ground and he was on the sofa and he was completely back," Patterson told the local ABC affiliate about seeing him through his apartment window on Thursday. She didn't think anything of it until the next day when he was in the same position.

"I kept thinking, 'I hope he gets up,' because I could tell he was young and I thought, 'I hope somehow he's okay.' But just knew in my heart he just wasn't," Patterson said.

Patterson says she spends time on her balcony and she had a clear view into Martin's apartment. She didn't know him, but suspected something wasn't right, which prompted her to call local police to check on Martin.

Toxicology tests are pending to determine the cause of death and potential date of death. Andrew Martin's father said that family members and friends that he was aware of had not heard from him since last Tuesday.
