UWF issued the following release to PWTorch.com...
NEW YORK-MARCH 22nd – Tempers flare and action will hit an all time high when “Ruthless Revenge,” the fifth installment of the Urban Wrestling Federation hits national pay-per-view on March 25th, announced today by UWF President and Boss Steve “The Hustler” Karel.
The toughest urban rap crews, the hardest-hitting professional wrestlers, and even the staff and officials get into the beat down action leaving no one safe from Ruthless Revenge. Turf wars and racial slurs summon the baddest into the ring to determine who walks away with the cash, the belt and reputation. The UWF combines urban music with non-stop hard-core wrestling to bring never-before-seen entertainment to viewers nationwide.
The past installments “First Blood,” “Hood Justice,” “Thug Assassins,” and “Street King” raised the stakes with brutal, blood drawing blows and even gunshots. “Ruthless Revenge” promises to top those events, as well as every other wrestling match seen before. It’s a no rules, no-holds-barred battle; giving those who’ve been wronged their fair-ups to show who’s boss.
The March 25th premiere is promised to be jammed packed with action and drama as the newly crowned champ Slymm takes on former WWE Smackdown star Rich “Beast” Ortiz (aka Ricky "O" Ortiz) in an incredible slug-fest, which will bring out his unique combination of MMA fighting skills and traditional wrestling. “Ruthless Revenge” will also feature a fierce match between former best friends Steve Mack and Jeez who take to the ring to settle issues that arose after Jeez turned on Mack. One of the most anticipated face-offs of the night will be a jaw-dropping show stealer four-way battle between Joker, Façade, Grim Reefer and Kage.
The ring is the new block, and shot callers from all over the United States are infiltrating the Urban Wrestling Federation! UWF has tapped the hottest talent including Triple C's of Gunplay, Torch and Young Breed representing Carol City, BX and Uncle Murda from East New York, LEP Bogus Boys from Chicago, Brisco from Opa Locka, Cuban Link and DJ Self from New York, Billy Blue from North Miami Beach, Colton City boy 40 Glocc and new comer SUN from the S.W.A.T. With all of these crews in one place at one time there is no telling what will happen, who will walk out, and who leave in a body bag.
The UWF offering, “Ruthless Revenge” is scheduled to premiere nationally on Sunday, March 25th at & 11pm EST/5pm & 8pm PDT.
