Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio) is making it sound like he will not venture away from pro wrestling unless an amazing offer is presented to him.

Specific to the GLORY kickboxing promotion, Alberto said on "The MMA Report" with John Pollock: "They contacted me, they approached me, but we never talked about money or names or anything like that."

Asked about potentially facing Bill Goldberg in a GLORY kickboxing match, Alberto replied: "Maybe they approached him and offered him some money and the possibility of fighting me, but that’s something only Bill Goldberg knows. I never got back from anybody from GLORY. If he needs to fight, good for him. If they give me the right amount of money that I want, then maybe, we’ll see."

Alberto's answer was similar when asked whether he's been contacted by UFC for an MMA fight. "Everybody has approached me in different ways," Alberto said, generalizing his non-wrestling discussions with various companies.

"The offers were just... we were so apart. Those organizations and I were so apart in the money that I was pretending to make and they were pretending to pay me that it was not going to be possible. But yes, everybody tried to find me."

Alberto's last professional MMA fight was five years ago in February 2010 before he signed with WWE. Within wrestling, Alberto is currently one of the top wrestling stars for AAA in Mexico, which carries over to the Lucha Underground promotion on U.S. TV.
