TNA Impact Tapings Report: Detailed rundown of Dec. 6 episode from Orlando Dec 3, 2007 - 11:06:04 PM
TNA Impact tapings
December 3, 2007
Orlando, Fla. at Universal Studios
Report by David Tuthill, PWTorch VIP member
(1) LAX defeated Black Reign and Rellik. Crowd chanted "This match sucks" when it didn't. Homicide hit an Ace Crusher and a roll-up for the pin.
Kurt Angle promo. Tells Cage to make a decision by the end of the night what side he was on.
(2) ODB defeated Gail Kim in a nontitle match. Kong ran out post match and her and Gail had a pull apart
Angle out again. Cage comes out with Roode. Roode shakes Angle's hand. Cage gets on the mic. Does a long promo. Eventually shakes Angle's hand.
(3) Chris Daniels defeated Senshi. Elix Skipper was the ref. This was apparently for the case Senshi won at the PPV since this was his last night with the company.
(4) Johnny Devine & Team 3D defeated Jay Lethal & The Motor City Machine Guns in a six man ladder match to apparently win the X Title. I guess whichever team got the belt determined who became champ, Devine or Lethal. Lethal actually grabbed the belt but the ref was distracted and Team 3D laid out Lethal and put the belt on Devine. Bubba Ray climbed a ladder during the course of the match that broke as he was standing on it.
(5) Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash & Booker T & Kaz & Eric Young defeated Kurt Angle& Tomko& A.J. Styles& Christian Cage& Robert Roode. Good solid main event. Angle turned on Cage after the match. Styles kept trying to make him stop. Angle told him to choose and Styles helped Cage out of the ring.
