TNA News: TNA Impact ratings - Did Karen Angle's big announcement draw? Or was it Curry Man? Mar 14, 2008 - 4:18:13 PM
Last night's TNA Impact drew a 1.1 rating again (1.12 to be precise). The final quarter hour beat the first quarter hour this week, but only by 0.02, with the rating dropping as low as 0.98 and peaking as high as 1.18.
Once again, the women's match drew the top rating of the show in Q7. After Curry Man vs. Petey Williams drew a 1.10 in the second quarter, the rating dropped to 1.04 and 0.98 to close out the first hour. The second hour started strong with a 1.11 for Karen Angle's "big announcement," then dropped to 1.09, peaked for the women's match, then settled into a 1.10 - which was about average for the wholeshow - for the main event.
Keller's Analysis: Not a lot to say this week. It's just a typical rating with the usual ups and downs, with the only real strong pattern being the women are typically drawing the best quarter hour rating and the best improvement from the previous quarter week after week.
