TNA News: Wrestlers given notice regarding their drug use at latest TNA tapings Sep 18, 2008 - 3:42:19 PM
PWTorch.com has learned that TNA wrestlers were handed a packet at TV tapings this week detailing the latest drug policy details TNA is enacting. As one wrestler put it, "There will be a lot of shrinking bodies around here if this test is legit."
Keller's Analysis: It really has stood out lately when comparing WWE to TNA wrestlers that one group features wrestlers without trapezious muscles (the bulky muscle that leads from the neck to the shoulder which is considered a visual "giveaway" of using muscle enhancement drugs and supplements) and the other features wrestlers with huge trapezious muscles. Looking at the shape of WWE's top acts, from Chris Jericho to JBL to Randy Orton to C.M. Punk and unnamed wrestlers in TNA of all heights and push-levels, there's little doubt there's something strange going on in their workout regimes. Maybe TNA wrestlers just have more time to work out and less travel than WWE's main roster (and Orton, to be fair, is unable to work out as usual as he rehabs his injury), but if TNA gets serious about drug testing, I would expect TNA's roster to begin to resemble WWE's.
