TNA wrestler Homicide had a decision to make about this time three years ago - WWE or TNA. Mick Foley was making appearances in Ring of Honor, where Homicide was a regular wrestler, and Foley suggested that Homicide look into WWE.

"Mick Foley was giving me advice," Homicide told Jim Varsallone in the Miami Herald. "I was working for Ring of Honor then, and Mick Foley asked me if I would like to go to WWE. That was the decision to make - go to TNA or WWE."

Foley, who is now with TNA, was in between WWE stints before returning to WWE to write another autobiography. Homicide said the travel schedule and influence from Konnan helped him make the decision.

"With less traveling, I picked TNA," he said. "I spoke to Konnan and told him I'd be willing to go to TNA. ... In December 2005, Konnan gave me a call and said, 'You're in. Just come to Orlando, and we'll build up LAX.'"

As part of the tag division with Hernandez to form their LAX team, Homicide says they've built up the division, but he has a feeling TNA is letting tag team wrestling die down on TV in favor of the Mafia vs. Frontline feud.

"I got a funny feeling the division is dying down a little because the people are paying more attention to other stuff or the people don't know enough about the tag team division," Homicide said. "The tag team division is good, but it could be better."

As a result, the former ROH World champion is turning his attention to the X Division, especially since the Feast or Fired storyline led to him receiving a future X Division Title shot. He hopes to help rebuild that division.

"I want to change the X Division," Homicide said. "I want to make it more interesting and more focused. Everybody thinks the X Division is about cruiserweights. It's not about cruiserweights. It's about no limits. It's about dare-deviling."

Homicide hopes his tag partner, Hernandez, can replace Eddie Guerrero in the lineage of Mexican World Hvt. champions, but it will take TNA giving them a chance to run with the ball after several false starts.

He said: "We had people with us like Konnan who was having troubles with the company, and that put us at the back of the bus. Hector Guerrero and we went to the back of the bus. The same thing with Shelly Martinez. I think she was the hottest girl in wrestling, and it didn't go well, and we went to the back of the bus again.

"So we told the company. Give us the ball, and let's see what happens. Right now we're doing good. Hopefully it will go far, and we will do very well."
