TNA posted footage of Eric Young's entire appearance on Danny Bonaduce's radio show yesterday to promote their yet-to-be-official Lockdown PPV match. The segment ended with Bonaduce and Young having a skirmish in-studio after Young slapped Bonaduce.

TNA began the program for Eric Young vs. Danny Bonaduce on the show when Young called his scheduled match-up against Bonaduce a "letdown."

"At one of the biggest PPVs of the year, wrestling you, to be honest, it was kind of a letdown," Young said on the show. "It's nothing against you, personally, but it doesn't do a lot for more wrestling career as I'm a professional wrestler."

Young said TNA management sent him to Bonaduce's show to promote the match they scheduled for Bonaduce to start out as a professional wrestler.

Bonaduce claimed he's now a pro wrestler because he was paid "a lot of money" by TNA to wrestle.

Young responded: "I will make it as entertaining as possible for the fans," suggesting he'll try to work around Bonaduce's limitations.

"I would be rather be wrestling a professional," Young said. "The biggest loss for me is wrestling you at Lockdown. I've worked hard for the company for five years."

Young was asked whether he's being asked by TNA to face Bonaduce because his career is going nowhere, but Young shot that down.

"They're not making me. I'm a professional and I'm paid to do a job," Young said. "They know that I will make it entertaining and I can carry someone who's not a professional through a match."

Caldwell's Analysis: Young had plenty of soundbytes they can utilize for video packages on TV to set up the match and perhaps generate some additional buys to see a "sideshow match" between Young and Bonaduce. Classic pro wrestling angle of doing the worked shoot with a celebrity to begin a program. We'll see how TNA follows-through in future weeks leading to Lockdown.
