TNA president Dixie Carter answered Vince McMahon's comments about TNA programming being "reprehensible" by pointing out what she believes to be reprehensible angles on WWE programming the last three weeks on Raw.

Earlier this week, McMahon told the Hollywood Reporter that he's not concerned about TNA as competition to his WWE business. His concern is TNA presenting some "reprehensible" content on Impact because they have a T-14 rating.

McMahon said TNA needs to "get with the times" and adopt a policy of PG-rated TV. TNA president Dixie Carter shot back that WWE's recent programming hasn't represented PG TV.

"I think it’s wonderful that Vince watches TNA Impact," Carter told the U.K. Sun. "And I agree with him that things such as the brutal beating of a sixty-year-old man, a vicious home invasion, and gratuitous man-on-woman violence can be seen as reprehensible - and that's just the last three Monday nights."

Carter did not offer any other comments to the Sun in defense of TNA Impact's specific content that McMahon may have found reprehensible.

Caldwell's Analysis: U.K. Sun only published that one quote from Dixie Carter, which is fine because she pointed out WWE's vile content from last week's Raw, but Carter didn't answer McMahon's statement. He said TNA programming is reprehensible. What Carter did not say is the key part of the story. By not defending TNA programming, she's saying one of three things. She agrees and doesn't want to say it, she cannot defend TNA programming against that claim, or it was more necessary to attack WWE than defend TNA.
