Former TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca is upset with TNA after she claims they fired her the day before her boyfriend was scheduled for cancer surgery. She also accuses TNA of shady business dealings related to throwing her out in the ring for her disastrous first match at the Victory Road PPV in July.

"The truth is that I took two days off out of all the time of working with them to be with my boyfriend as he had surgery because of his cancer, and they fired me the night before his surgery," Morasca told the U.K. Sun. "That's honestly the truth and if they didn't want that to be the truth then maybe they should have waited a couple of days."

Morasca claims when she signed a contract with TNA, it was not in her contract to have to wrestle a match. She says when TNA sprung the idea on her to have a match in July, she was concerned because she thought it was "unlikely" she would ever have to wrestle.

"My main concern was that after my match I would be discarded and my storyline would end. My agent was very skeptical and didn't want me to do it," she said. "However I was assured that wasn't the case so agreed." She acknowledged that "some people hated it (the match)."

Morasca says she requested time off from a TV tapings in August to be with her boyfriend who was having cancer surgery.

"They called my agent on Monday night - when they knew full well the surgery was on Tuesday - and told him that I was fired," Jenna said. "I thought the timing was really cruel and insensitive. Considering we weren't doing a taping for another three weeks, why couldn't they have waited a few more days?"

Morasca says she pushed for a reason on why she was fired. At first, she claims she was told it was a money issue. She says she pushed harder to find out TNA dropped her storyline after the disastrous match against Sharmell.

"They said my storyline had come to an end, which justifies my concern that I'd do the match and then be discarded," Jenna said. "There was also a rumor that I left to another Survivor, which is obviously not true as I'm here talking to you. I was just really really shocked as I gave them everything I had. I feel so hurt."

Caldwell's Analysis: She was a little loose on the exact verbiage in the TNA contract as to whether she was contracted to never have to wrestle, "unlikely" have to wrestle, or whether there was simply nothing in the contract about wrestling and she interpreted that as her not having to wrestle. It will be interesting to see if Jenna and her agent pursue a wrongful termination remedy against TNA or whether there's something done out of court. Interesting story to follow if Jenna's claims are valid.
