Pictures of TNA wrestlers Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley being photographed smoking weed at a college party recently surfaced. The pictures have led to some people on the Internet clamoring for TNA to punish the wrestlers based on violating the company's Wellness Policy.

However, there is no punishment to dole out on the specific actions from the wrestlers in questions. Of the stories and message board posts I've researched, no one has been able to come up with a date for the pictures.

Alex Shelley appears to be much heftier than he currently is and he is shown sporting a completely different hairstyle than he currently wears, which indicates these are not recent pictures. The pictures are obviously more than a few years old.

TNA has no jurisdiction over something Shelley and Sabin did at a college party before their Wellness Policy was instituted. The present spotlight on past pictures could raise suspicion from TNA management to request a drug test from the TNA wrestlers in the present. However, punishing the wrestlers based on action well past the statute of limitations is silly.

TNA has not handled business well with Kurt Angle's arrest, Christopher Daniels's DUI arrest, Angelina Love's release, and now their firing of Jenna Morasca, but no action is required from this story.
