The following are news and notes from tonight's episode of TNA Impact completing the hype for the No Surrender PPV on Sunday and setting up the advanced build-up for Bound for Glory on October 10.

-- TNA is advertising that Abyss's "they" will be revealed on October 10 at the Bound for Glory PPV. TNA is labeling it "D-Day" for TNA.

-- As PWTorch originally reported at the Victory Road PPV in July, the "mystery biker" character hanging around Madison Rayne was revealed as Tara on tonight's Impact.

-- TNA is advertising they will hear from former TNA World Hvt. champion Rob Van Dam on the next episode of Impact with an "update" after Abyss's storyline-driven attack last month.

Next week's Impact is pre-empted, which was noted during Reaction and not during Impact, where they said RVD would comment "next week."

-- In the TV main event, "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero pinned Kurt Angle to win the main event tag match of Pope & Mr. Anderson vs. Angle & Jeff Hardy. The match set up Pope vs. Anderson and Angle vs. Hardy in semi-final matches of the TNA Title tournament at No Surrender.

-- In the Fortune vs. EV2 elimination tag match, A.J. Styles pinned Tommy Dreamer for the final elimination. Styles vs. Dreamer in an I Quit match is one of the featured matches at No Surrender.
