TNA Victory Road PPV news & notes

-- The main event ended with TNA World Hvt. champion Bobby Roode pinning Sting in a 17-minute match after Sting "hit his head on a chair" executing the Scorpion Death Drop.

The big story was a post-match angle with Roode involving TNA president Dixie Carter in a segment that featured Roode taping Sting to the corner and teasing violence against Dixie. The PPV concluded with Roode demanding Dixie tell him what she's going to do about his actions. The crowd chanted, "Fire Bobby," as the PPV concluded.

-- James Storm remained #1 contender to the TNA World Title by defeating Bully Ray in an impromptu #1 contender match to open the PPV. Storm vs. TNA World Hvt. champion Robert Roode remains the Lockdown PPV main event next month.

-- There was one title change on the PPV - Brother Devon captured the TV Title from Robbie E. in the "Robbie E. Open Challenge."

In other title matches, Gail Kim retained the Knockouts Title over Madison Rayne, Austin Aries retained the X Division Title over Zema Ion, and Magnus & Samoa Joe retained the Tag Titles over Matt Morgan & Crimson, who turned heel on Morgan.

-- TNA president Dixie Carter announced the "10th anniversary" Slammiversary PPV will take place in the Dallas market in June. Specifically, TNA will be on-campus at UT-Arlington in Texas for the PPV.

-- A video package aired on Alex Shelley and Detroit that pointed to the return of the Motor City Machineguns tag team. Shelley's partner, Chris Sabin has been out of action for one year with a knee injury.

-- TNA played up the Facebook/Twitter "feud" between Eric Bischoff and Jeremy Borash during the PPV. Bischoff confronted Borash, who was conducting an interview, and the two exchanged barbs before Bischoff sent him away as part of the storyline.

-- Spike TV's "Repo Games" host Josh Lewis was shown ringside sitting next to TNA president Dixie Carter. It was announced Lewis will appear on Thursday's Impact Wrestling episode.

-- Brooke Hogan made several appearances during the PPV, starting with the Robbie E. vs. Brother Devon TV Title match. Brooke yanked a chair away from Robbie during the match and TNA announcer Mike Tenay announced it was Brooke.
