James Caldwell, Torch Assistant Editor (7.0)

The main event six-man tag match carried plenty of weight to evaluate this week's show. If WWE is going the direction of a Jack Swagger vs. Christian match for the ECW Title at WrestleMania, then I like the slow build-up for the match. Excuse the pun, but Swagger has swagger back as ECW champ after he was booked like a fool the first few weeks he held the belt.

Meanwhile, Christian took the prospect of a scripted loss and made himself stand out when he was on offense in the six-man tag. He looks very refreshed in a WWE ring after ending his TNA career by going through the motions. We'll see how long it lasts.

Good to see Miz & Morrison back on ECW in a regular role, even if the Dirty Awards segment was completely random and lame. Their contribution in the main event was great, though, as they delivered great athleticism to balance Finlay and Dreamer.

Boogeyman, we hardly knew ya. Kane squashing Boogey certainly suggests his push will be diminished on ECW. Perhaps they'll replay the squash match formula all over again to rebuild Boogey starting next week. Ugh. ... Alicia Fox is impressive. Natalya already carries herself like a "veteran hand" in the ring, which is great to see. I doubt we're getting Natalya vs. Trish at WrestleMania, though. Not enough time to build up a compelling women's match other than Maryse vs. Melina champion vs. champion match.

Brian Hoops, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.0)

I have always liked a show that recaps the main highlights or focuses on the main angle to open the program and ECW did that effectively, focusing on Jack Swagger's win over Christian, making it seem like a big win for Swagger over a quality opponent in Christian. Looks like they are building to a Alicia Fox/DJ Gabriel vs. Natalya/TJ Wilson feud. The early wrestling matches were all skippable, but the main event 6 man tag, was an enjoyable match. I was surprised Christian taking the clean loss again, but it does make Jack Swagger look stronger than if he pinned Dreamer or Finlay.

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.0)

The six-man tag made this show, but I'm not sure it really accomplished anything in the long run. If they're building toward Swagger vs. Christian, that's two weeks in a row now he's been pinned by Swagger. I would've preferred someone else eat the pin and if they AREN'T going with Christian vs. Swagger at 'Mania, then I'm even more confused.

Everything else was just there. Alicia vs. Natalya was OK; Fox shows promise and it's too bad Natalya's in-ring skills weren't taken advantage of more often on Smackdown. The Boogeyman squash was surprising but I think they reached the end of the line with what they could do with him. Santino had an off-night on the mic (mostly due to the material) and Mark Henry in the MITB match should be interesting at least.
