Just an okay show. They closed ECW with a significant announcement of the World and WWE tag titles up for grabs in a unification match at WrestleMania 25 to make ECW somewhat relevant this week, but it's the tag titles we're talking about. Fortunately, Miz & Morrison have achieved rock star status in WWE and the Colons are gaining more and more star power each week. Tag team wrestling might be a burden to Vince McMahon, but at least there's a compelling tag match with gold on the line for WrestleMania.

Evan Bourne was the highlight of the show with his sweet return to show off his aerial offense and bring some athleticism to the show. The potential Bourne vs. Kidd feud that was set in motion when Kidd debuted could be WrestleMania-worthy if they want to pull the trigger that soon on a feud that could carry the ECW brand.

ECW champion Jack Swagger carried the brand in February, but he's suddenly been relegated to doing nothing on TV. No-show last week without a video package or vignette reminding us of the champion, then a throw-away promo talking about how good-looking he is? That's not the Swagger I know that rose to the top of the brand in three months. Leaving him off the WrestleMania card as ECW champion would be disappointing, but they have nothing for him right now.

Another decent episode of ECW. Christian has looked really good in the ring since coming to ECW. Seems like a possible Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin program in the future. Evan Bourne looked great as well, although his match with Noble could have went another 10 minutes. Loved the Matt Striker reference to King Parsons. And what is with all the references to Pee Wee Herman? Does anyone under 25 years old have a clue what he is talking about? The Finlay-Burchill match was a standard match. I thought the Dirt Sheet segment was an interesting way to build to the unification match at WrestleMania, with a Bella Twin in each
corner.

Dominick Mayer, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.0)

Solid-ish show. I like the angle they've taken with this show, in which they use ECW to promote lower-card feuds for Wrestlemania. A lot of push for MITB, which is fine, because they need to highlight this year's crop, which is sort of underwhelming on paper. Evan Bourne made his return, and didn't miss a step in being awesome as usual. However, I have to ask, where was any kind of development for Jack Swagger and/or an ECW Title match at Mania? He came out, introduced himself and then left. I was hoping for somebody to interrupt his promo or something, but no. Instead, there are only two installments of ECW left until the big show, and no title match, even with a vague build. I'm really hoping they don't leave it off, because that's just a blatant throw of ECW to the kiddie table, especially after last year's eight-second travesty.

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.5)

The opening tag match was fine, but I don't get Christian taking the pin here. Maybe that means MVP really does have the best shot at winning? I can't say I'm atwitter about the prospect of seeing like six more tag matches with the MITB participants in some form or another. Noble vs. Bourne was three minutes of excellence. I can only dream about what would happen if they got any kind of time on TV to show what they could really do.

Jack Swagger's nothing promo tells me they still have no idea what they're doing with the ECW Title at Wrestlemania. Finlay vs. Paul Burchill was pretty blah, but you had to get Finlay and Hornswoggle on there on St. Patrick's Day. The main event segment was fine, +1,000 points for focusing on two legit tag teams in the division.
