Chris Jericho is at the top of his profession as a pro wrestler right now. His character is flawless, his in-ring wrestling is right on for WWE"s TV presentation style, and his matches as of late have been superb. There's a reason why he was a participant in the top three Best Matches of May, as voted by Torch readers.

Jericho vs. Morrison was the clear highlight of the show and Morrison came out looking better as a babyface than when he walked into the ring despite losing the main event. Heck, Dolph Ziggler looked like a future main eventer simply being in the same ring with Jericho on last week's show.

Evan Bourne vs. Zack Ryder was a nice little undercard match on the show. It was refreshing to see Bourne working with someone other than Mark Henry or Tony Atlas so he could pull out some of his trademark moves. The match was still put-together to be a slow-it-down match despite two Cruiserweights in the ring, but I thought it benefited Ryder being able to work in some credible offensive holds that established him as more than a goofball.

Superstars continues to be a steadily good-to-great show with the Smackdown brand being showcased each week. Smackdown is hot right now, so it makes sense to play a hot hand on to boost the profile of the Thursday night offering and send a message to viewers that the show isn't completely skippable.

Jon Mezzera, PWTorch.com Contributor (7.5)

This was a good episode of Superstars featuring three solid to very good matches. The Bellas vs. Beth Phoenix & Rosa Mendes was a solid tag match. However, it left me with some questions. WWE hasn't ever explained why the Bellas went from fighting each other to teaming again after being drafted to Raw. WWE hasn't explained the relationship between Phoenix and Mendes. Santino Marella was the one who brought Mendes into the group, with Phoenix reluctantly agreeing, yet now they are a tag team. I would prefer more storyline/character development.

Evan Bourne vs. Zack Ryder was a good match. It was the best Ryder has ever looked in a WWE ring as far as I'm concerned. This was a better way to showcase Bourne's skills in the ring than his feud with Mark Henry, but I still want to see more of Bourne on offense. This was another random match like the first. I wouldn't mind some on air explanation for why the match is happening. If the reason is simply that they are facing to impress Tiffany and move up the ECW card, then have the announcers say that.

Chris Jericho vs. John Morrison was a very good match. These two work well together and Jericho continues to shine in the ring, while Morrison continues to show why he is on his way to moving to the top of the Smackdown roster. However, I feel this was another random match. Why was Jericho in this match just a few days after winning the Intercontinental Title and unmasking Rey Mysterio? Jericho's first post-PPV appearance should have been a promo to gloat. That was a mistake. However, I can't complain too much as it was a very good match.

The opening Divas tag match was fine, and I don't have a problem with the Bellas being used as JTTS at this point. They have a different gimmick (they're TWINS!) that'll keep them on the roster for a while. Beth Phoenix has been the queen of Superstars thus far, as it seems like she's on the show quite often.

Zack Ryder vs. Evan Bourne was a good match and it was nice to see Bourne let loose after a few weeks of slumming it against Mark Henry and Tony Atlas. I like Ryder's theme music for his character, but that's about it. Speaking of letting loose, that seems to be what happened to John Morrison since he turned face: He can pull out all these fancy moves that no one else does and not risk being turned from heel to face. His in-ring work really seems to fit him well as a good-guy.
