James Caldwell, Torch Assistant Editor (8.0)

Great show, minus the "go away" heat for the Abraham Washington show. Sheamus vs. Goldust in the main event was exactly how you elevate two wrestlers after ECW writers did their work ahead of time to lay the groundwork for this feud to deserve a spotlight opportunity. Sheamus is growing each week. Goldust is dipping into the fountain of youth each week. They have solid chemistry and really delivered a nice, stand-out TV match this week. They both were winded around the 11:00 mark and the crowd was ready for them to take it home to the finish, but they came back strong at the end with a good finish. Crowd buying into a reverse chinlock and not sitting on their hands shows how well ECW connected the wrestlers to the audience.

Oh, Abraham. Oh, Tony A. Oh, dear. Terrible jokes, but I got a kick out of some of Atlas's well-placed laughing. But, I figured it out. Abraham is soooo bad and written soooo poorly that it makes his guests stand out. Crowds are like, "Please, anyone but Abraham. Someone new, please... ok, yes, even Paul Burchill." I kid about no one wanting to see Burchill because his look, demeanor, and overall presentation has dramatically improved the past two weeks. I can see the untapped potential now. He had a "Triple H coming back from the leg tear in the jean jacket" vibe to him. He's ready to step up in the world.

WWE barely nicked the surface on what they can do with the "wrestlers talking about other wrestlers" video presentation they included in the Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker music video. Want to get over a young star? Don't put Tyler Reks in the inset promo talking about himself; have a veteran wrestler with credibility talk about what he sees in Reks. Have Christian or Dreamer talk about what they see in him to become a future star. Audiences will take note. A young guy talking himself up if he hasn't backed it up in the ring doesn't have much credibility with the audience.

Dominick Mayer, PWTorch.com Contributor (6.5)

Overall a good show this week. I'll just get the negatives out now so I don't sound like a broken record: Get Abraham Washington off television. Moving on, Goldust and Sheamus made the most of their main event match, and did well. It was a good TV match, and proved that both of them belonged in the spotlight they were given. I'm just elated a mid-card feud got that much of a push.

Christian and Dreamer set up next week's tag match nicely, and I'd like to see Christian have his own faction. My vote's for Yoshi Tatsu, as working with Christian and Dreamer would do wonders for him both with the crowd and with his ring work. Looking forward to seeing the Burchill-Helms/Hurricane feud continue, and after this week I really hope they do something good with Shelton Benjamin, who looked excellent in the time he was given.

Greg Parks, PWTorch.com Contributor (7.0)

This show was all about the mid-card, with very little time being given to the likes of Dreamer, Regal and Christian. And having shows like this once in a while is a good idea, making the mid-card seem even more important and elevating them on the off chance and injury opens up a spot in the main event. Sheamus and Goldust put on another solid match, and I don't think anyone expected this kind of production out of these two when the feud started.

Benjamin vs. Ryder was OK, but this feud just doesn't seem to have much in the way of legs to it. I mean, other than singing "Only wanna be with you," there hasn't been much to sink your teeth into as a fan. Kozlov and Jackson's squash was fine, but how long can they keep these two away from legit competition, where they'll surely be exposed? Adding Tony Atlas as the announcer for the Abraham Washington Show was a stroke of genius. I would've liked for him to have a few more lines though.
