Personally, I think the heel character Chris Jericho is outstanding and Jericho has been the best heel in the business over the last 12 months. It began with his awesome feud of the year with Shawn Michaels and continued to his latest feud with the wrestling legends. I am interested in where this angle will lead and who will be in the payoff match at WrestleMania.

From what I have read, almost everyone is going with the assumption that another legend is going to step in the payoff match at Mania with Mikey Rourke in his corner to defend the other legends that Jericho has faced off against. I have suggested that Jerry Lawler is either the primary or back-up plan, with long shot possibilities being Lance Storm or even RVD. Some are speculating on Steve Austin or Hulk Hogan.

Let me offer another possibility. What if it isn't another legend as everyone assumes? What if the WWE surprises everyone and has a son of a legend confront Jericho? One idea comes to mind is to have Jericho run down the British Bulldogs, specifically Davey Boy Smith, and have D.H. "Harry" Smith re-debut to confront Jericho to defend his late father.

I think this idea has some upside as Smith is reportedly much improved over his original debut. Smith scoring a clean win over the top heel in the company on the biggest stage in wrestling would make Smith a hot, young, rising star the company desperately needs. I hate using a dead wrestler as an angle, so hopefully WWE wouldn't ruin this awesome angle with something in poor taste.
