Mike Omansky (6.5): Best match: Kazarian-Cage ladder match. Worst match: Women's four way. The first hour and a half was a throwaway, and not worth paying to see - just TV matches. The rest of the show, however, was solid. Kazarian was the great wrestler that I have seen for the past few years at JAPW (Jersey All Pro Wrestling) indie shows -- a main event talent who delivers a first-rate match. He has finally been seen in a bigger venue, and he was excellent. Angle tag match was also first rate, and interesting due to the goofy rules that again devalue the title belt. A strong match was tarnished by the interference toward the end. The expected Booker T debut was well received by the live fans, but he enters in a losing effort. Roode-Joe was solid as well.
David Zimmerman (8.5): Best Match: Kaz/Christian Worst match: Women's Title. For all the dumb things TNA books from time to time that make zero sence, I am usually happy I spent 30 bucks on their PPVs. If anyone discredits the guys' work tonight, they should be punched. Booker T's entrance took a little too long and I hate that they always copy star's old songs instead of making new tracks, but that is a little complaint. Booker is over and deserves the shorter TNA schedule and he wrestled great tonight. Why Kevin Nash is wrestling I don't know. Does he not know he can barely move? Kurt Angle is their top player, and TNA is booking him to complain and be scared of who his opponents are in every backstage segment. Then they booked A.J. & Tomko to help him retain tonight? Why isn't Angle confident in himself and shouldn't he be retaining his belt on his own? Kaz and Christian was off the charts, but they shouldn't even have tried some of the stuff for fear of serious injury. Kaz's legdrop on a ladder shouldn't have been done. Kaz rose up tonight, though. Sabin & Shelley tore it up tonight and showed they can hang. Awesome, awesome tag bout with Team 3D and the Guns. Back and forth. Just amazing stuff. I originally hated the whole hating on the X Division concept, but if they book it to where the X-guys are using skill and hard work to beat them, the concept then works. The Women's Title match was bad. Roxxi's gimmick is stupid and it doesn't work in 2007. ODB's drinking thing is completely stupid and she is 100 percent indy in her antics. Lethal & Dutt had a good match. The post-match angle was well-done as well. The Steiner Brothers shouldn't be wrestling in 2007 and A.J. & Tomko need to be winning clean tag title defenses. Roode vs. Joe was good, but the whole mystery lady wanting to work for Roode angle isn't gonna make any money, so why the hell are they doing it? Match should have been about Roode and Joe, not Traci's out of the blue medical problem! Abyss vs. Reign was okay, and Stamboli looked awesome in the Crinsom Blood outfit. That post-match angle was actually pretty cool, but come on, give Abyss a break from all the pain TNA puts him through booking him in hardcore matches every month. Give the guy a break! Good PPV.
Ryan Tourgee Cranston, R.I. (7.5): Best Match: Ladder Match Worst Match: Abyss-Reign. I gotta say, I enjoyed this show more than I expected to. The ladder match was exiting and was definitely the biggest win of Kazarian's career. The X Title match was also an enjoyable contest. Lethal and Dutt rose above their corny gimmicks and put on an excellent match. This is exactly what the X Division needs at this time. While Booker may seem fresh to some, I felt that the main event seemed like a WCW retirement home match. Wait until Jarrett returns and we could have Nitro 00 V2. Otherwise a better than usual show for TNA. Hell, even my five month old son even seemed to take notice.
