WWE Raw Reax #1: "I was thoroughly let down by this episode. What happened to the Flair push?"

Amo (6.0): Best: Kennedy to fake Razor, "Glad you could show." Worst: Jericho's Hair. Kennedy dissed TNA in a big way, but at the same time, let everyone know the WWE is watching. If Y2J had some hair dye, I swear he would be the Red Rooster. I don't like that J.R. slammed down our throat (not his choice) that Beth Phoenix is to be know as Glamazon. I think the name is a slam to Beth for all her hard work... injury and all, but Tony Atlas was Samba Samba, I guess. Rest of the show was boring as usual, but, Hell Yea to the return of the APA... Damn!

Trevor Dumais of Lawrence Mass. (6.0): Best Match: CHris Jericho vs. Umaga. Worst Match: Hornswoggle vs. Coach & Carlito. If Ric Flair didn't return last week, this show would have been pretty good. But with him being invisible, it seemed real uncomfortable. Where was he? Did he quit? Why should I put any faith or get excited for an angle if he gets "forgotten"? Besides that nagging obvious question, the show was solid. It was nice to see Regal add an incentive to push the Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy dynamic forward. Will Triple H turn? It's almost like when he does turn, it will be like a face turn when everyone will cheer to see Triple H be natural again. And it will add another reason to rally behind Hardy in his feud with Hunter. Although Jericho and Umaga showed less action than HBK vs. Orton, Jericho vs. Umaga is completely new. I thought to myself how I have seen two brand new matches in the last week with Santino-Jericho and this week's match. At this point, any new match for the modern Raw era is a welcome sight compared to HBK-Orton again. A last thought, Hogan should have waited until after the impeding drama before asking Vince for a paycheck. Hogan knows going into next Monday that half of the payoff is going to Linda, doesn't he? I thought he knew best.

M.L. Jordan of Myrtle Beach, S.C. (2.0): Best match: None. Worst Match: Carlito/Coach vs. Hornswaggle. In all, I was thoroughly let down by this episode. What happened to the Flair push? In Flair Country and he can't even make an appearance to progress the angle? For Pete's sake, he pinned the World Champion last week! They can give time to Hornswaggle and Stephanie, but not the "Nature Boy"? Poor, poor booking. I really wish the Hollywood writer's strike would have affected WWE. Why does Vince still have his head up his ass and allow others to influence his "vision"? With all of the crap that this show was, it was good to have angles advance in the Kennedy-Michaels, Hardy-Helmsley and Phoenix-James programs. I was also happy to see that WWE acknowledged TNA, even though it was a slight on "Da Bad Guy." Dusty's booking was better than this crap because at least he got you emotionally invested.
