WWE Raw Reax #2: "Cena coming back to a title shot makes him just like Candice Michelle."

Christi Lott of Dallas, Tex. (5.0): Best match: Jericho vs. Batista. Worst match: Divas Match. What in the world has happened to women's wrestling in the WWE? Seriously, when the monster heel sells for a woman who is old just for laughs, it's the WWE laughing at women's wrestling itself. I'm sticking with Youtube for Japanese wrestling and TNA for the Knockouts. I'm glad the WWE did something unexpected in the World Title match, but there's no point of taking the title off of Jericho if he was going to get it back in two weeks. It also weakens Batista in that he needed other people's help at Cyber Sunday to win, but couldn't beat Jericho one on one. I'm seriously hoping Orton gets in that title match because Cena coming back to a title shot makes him just like Candice Michelle, and quite frankly I can't stand either one of them because they're both overhyped.

Matt Guerra of Bayonne, N.J.: (5.0): This show didn't have much to offer. The five points goes to Mike Adamle getting off TV. The matches were lackluster, the angles were soft, and Shane McMahon and Stephanie showing up just doesn't do it for me. The best part of the night was Shawn Michaels and Triple H making fun of themselves. That should tell you what is wrong with Raw. Batista vs. Jericho should have been a half-hour cage match but instead we saw a ten-minute snoozefest, to the point where Jericho was actually comically finding his way back into the ring each time he was about to leave it. Batista had no business with the belt and getting it off him was a Great move. So is Priceless already breaking up, if so, will I have to hear about them like the short lived Evolution being such a great tandem of wrestlers? For such a hyped show, it did not deliver one bit plus Mysterio is still kissing kids before his matches, which is very creepy.

Matt Johnson of Norway, Mich. (9.0): Best: Segments featuring Randy Orton. Worst: Mark Henry & Kane vs. Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston. This Raw was the best that WWE could do at this time. It is not sustainable, however, in that so many big matches were given away. WWE should build Raw around Randy Orton. His character is far less played out than the other top players. His anti-authority personality plays out well on camera, and he could become something of a cult leader for Priceless. DX vs. Miz & Morrison turned out alright because DX did not completely squash them. If Orton is the top heel in WWE, Miz & Morrison should be heel act no. two. The cage match was enjoyable, but the characters are played out. The dancing scene was ridiculous. The road agent legends don't have nostalgic value since they are on television so often. WWE should not let Mae in the ring again. I was literally afraid of her dying in the ring. I am interested in seeing more Stephanie on television. Her character would seem fresh. I could see Stephanie helping Orton behind the scenes.
