Terrie Neilson of Las Vegas, Nev. (9.0): Best: Shawn/Rey vs. Miz/Morrison; Jericho promo. Worst: Cryme Tyme vs. JBL/Kane. Despite randomized and last-minute Survivor Series elimination matches and lack of build in other places, this was a very nice go-home show. The forum opening was a good idea to make sense of or at explain why certain things were happening. The crowd did get an answer about Cena that makes as much sense as WWE can make it. The forum also explained why Santino doesn't get a re-match in the U.S., and also gave Santino a chance to bust out a sweet rap. A valid answer was given for Orton not being suspended for kicking DiBiase, and moved along the Orton-Priceless nicely. I'm beginning to feel a face turn out of Team Priceless, though it may be unfounded. Manu's no Umaga (yet) but he's got potential to be another agile Samoan. Evan Bourne got a lot of face time; Royal Rumble sounds good for a return date. I'm rolling my eyes at a Knox-Bourne feud, but Evan has had good matches with the big guys. ... Jericho deserved equal time, so to speak, to state his case against Cena. It took them long enough to do both that, and remind people why Jericho is relevant to wrestling with the first Undisputed win. But it was a typical excellent promo from Chris. The lumberjack match was a good final sell, and it's been quite some time since WWE used a mass brawl in a go-home show. And finally, Rey/Shawn-Miz/Morrison was a fun match with the right finish, with Miz/Morrison as the veteran tag team against a first-time ever team. Everything in the match clicked, and the finish made perfect sense. Morrison nailing Shawn with his own (and very) Sweet Chin Music could be seen as hint of a torch passing. If Shawn is passing the baton any time soon, looks like he's passing it to the right guy.

Matt Johnson of Norway, Mich. (7.0): Best: Miz & Morrison vs. Michaels & Mysterio. Worst: Kelly Kelly vs. Victoria. John Morrison never phones it in. He performs well in the ring and lives his role, as opposed to acting. Miz and Morrison have the goods to be top heels. They are better as a pair than as individuals, but that doesn’t mean WWE can’t push them both to the top while keeping them together. Randy Orton was solid as always. His natural confidence comes through in his promos. Michaels is still solid in the ring, but it doesn’t seem like he is into his act. The soap opera between Orton and Priceless continues to be intriguing. Evan Bourne is terrific and I would pay to see his matches, but he sure sucks at promos. He doesn’t need to act tough or dramatic. Just act like a confident, but polite athlete. His skit with Knox might actually get Knox over as a heel. Why was Matt Hardy on Raw? Why did ECW wrestlers serve as lumberjacks? I wish we could redistribute the time spent on Jericho’s long promos to Miz and Morrison. The Orton-Punk match was fine, but stipulation matches would seem more special if they didn’t occur every other week. Also, there was no reason to have a lumberjack match. Had there been a series of matches between Orton and Punk where Orton ran away? Good show though, in that they put some heat on the heels before the PPV.
