WWE Raw Reax #3: "I knew it was a great show when my wife actually sat with me and watched the entire show."

Art "Bucky" Blarr of Buffalo, N.Y. (9.0): Best Match: Cena vs. Edge Worst Match: Truth vs. Ziggler. I knew it was a great show when my wife actually sat with me and watched the entire three-hour show. Morrison & Miz were great together and once again showed that they are the DX of this generation. Morrison looked great in his match against Punk and definitely outshined Punk's performance. I've been disappointed in Punk as of late. When he said to the crowd after accepting his Slammy that by the end of the year people will still be saying...I was waiting for "Go to sleep" to be the answer. The stars of the show were Glamarella, even though the match against Finlay & Hornswoggle was pretty bad. Glamarella's actions before, during, and after the match made the whole thing enjoyable. The Beth-Melina confrontation was a great set up for their feud. I never thought I'd say this but I really love Vickie Guerrero's heel character. Batista really looked like a true Animal in his handicap tag match which had a great finish with Orton's team getting the win. The main event between Cena and Edge was the perfect build-up for the PPV with all the run-ins by the main players. I enjoyed this whole event with the exception of the Truth vs. Ziggler match, which would have fit in better earlier in the show or not at all.

A.A. Norman of Tulsa, Okla. (10.0): Best match: Cena vs. Edge. Worst match: None. It wasn't a perfect show, but it was good enough to say that the reports of the death of WWE were greatly exaggerated. It seemed like everyone wanted to do their best work in front of the entire roster (or perhaps, they were auditioning to not lose their jobs in the upcoming downsized roster). Favorite moments include MVP's razzing of the hometown hero Phillies (then his subsequent loss to Charlie Haas' MVC impersonation), Santino's rant on not receiving an award (following by another inadvertent low blow and loss to Hornswoggle), and the solid matches. Low points of the show included more opportunities to make Brokeback jokes for Cody and Randy, any random shots of William Regal, and "The Legacy" coming out of Stephanie's office pleased. "Oh, you want to handicap my husband three on two? Sure, why not? Sounds like fun! Beat Triple H to a pulp!" That just didn't make sense. However, good all-around show. We look forward to purchasing Behind Enemy Lines Colombia from the $0.99 rack at QuikTrip in a few months.
