-- Question of the Day 1/27 Reax: Who is your final prediction to win the Royal Rumble? (Has it changed from your "way too early prediction" one month ago?) Also, predict the Final Four of the Rumble.
JerichoChrisSilouette_TB140_3.jpg

Sam, PWTorch reader: I think Chris Jericho will win simply from the unexplained return clips, which had "best in the world" and "Chris" crossed out on the notebook. "Best in the world" is C.M. Punk and "Chris" crossed out obviously means he will "claim what is rightfully his" and it will be the "end of the best in the world," as we know it. Now, one week before the Rumble, Jericho finally speaks. I feel WWE had this planned for a while and Jericho will reveal the codes on the Raw episode when he choses which title he goes for.

Mike Castranio, PWTorch reader: C.M. Punk to win the Rumble after losing the WWE Title. The Final Four are Randy Orton, Punk, Sheamus, and Wade Barrett.

Alben, PWTorch reader: My Royal Rumble winner would be a surprise return from Undertaker. After he wins, he will go on to WrestleMania to defend his Streak and capture the title. The Final Four for me is Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and The Miz.

Alif P., PWTorch reader: My original pick was Chris Jericho. However, I think he will do something newsworthy before eliminating himself from the Rumble. So, my pick to win it all is John Cena. My Final Four picks are John Cena, Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, and Dolph Ziggler.

954, PWTorch reader: I initially had Daniel Bryan as my "way too early" Rumble winner pick, but with things the way they are now, it seems like Chris Jericho will win, setting up Jericho-Punk for the WWE Title match at Mania. Final Four = Jericho, Orton, Ziggler, and maybe Miz.

Dan of London, England: Jericho to win the Rumble. Orton and he will be the last two with a dirty win to start feuding and carry Jericho over until Mania build-up. Last Four will be Jericho, Christian, Miz, (after going in at #1), and Orton.

Brent, PWTorch reader: Chris Jericho wins. Final Four: (1) Chris Jericho. (2) Randy Orton. (3) John Cena. (4) Kane.

Sam, PWTorch reader: Everyone thinks Jericho is going to win. I'm sorry, but it's going to be hometown boy Randy Orton. Final Four will be Orton, Barrett, Sheamus, and Rhodes (yes, Smackdown guys). Personally, I think Jericho vs. Punk can happen without a Rumble win and Smackdown will have Bryan vs. Orton at Mania.

Hank Devine of Newport Beach, Calif.: Look for an impressive showing by Miz, who will be eliminated by Mick Foley, leading to a match at WrestleMania. Final Four are Jericho, Orton, Sheamus, and Barrett. Orton wins, teases a WrestleMania re-match with C.M. Punk, but, ultimately, chooses Daniel Bryan. Jericho will win a #1 contender match at Elimination Chamber next month and battle Punk at Mania.

Matt of Westbrook, Maine: My original pick to win was Jericho, but he doesn't have to win the Rumble to be in one of the main events at WrestleMania. So, I'm going with my other pick of Cody Rhodes. The Rumble catapults someone to the top of WWE instantly and Cody has the talent and the skills to be a true main-eventer and tell a great story in the ring. Plus, title vs. title at Mania would be epic. Final Four: Orton, Barrett, Rhodes, and Sheamus.

Marc in New Jersey, college student: I didn't send in my "Way Too Early" Royal Rumble winner prediction, but my pick hasn't changed. I believe Chris Jericho will complete his Hall of Fame career with a Rumble victory. The timing is right - he didn't want to return to WWE unless they had something new for his character and what better way to jumpstart his latest run than to win the 25th Rumble? I believe the Final Four will be Jericho, Sheamus, The Miz, and Randy Orton, the hometown hero. The Final Four is usually a combination of two faces and two heels, with 2009 being the latest exception if memory serves me correctly. I think Orton will look strong in his first PPV match returning from injury, Sheamus will continue to look like a force, and #1-slotted Miz will be resilient (albeit by cheating). I think Miz eliminates Sheamus, Orton eliminates Miz, and Jericho ironically eliminates the guy who punted him out of action, in storylines, over a year ago.
