-- WWE Raw Reax 3/26

Jerry in Illinois, broadcasting major (7.0): Best Match: Sheamus & Orton vs. D-Bry & Kane. Worst Match: Eve vs. Kelly Kelly. I thought this Raw was weird. I gave it a 7.0, as this week's show just flew by compared to last week, where it dragged. My score also went up because Raw opened with a match instead of a promo... The worst segment on the show that wasn't a match was Christian being taken out of WrestleMania. I was hoping that he would be on Team Johnny versus Team Teddy, as he was one of the few entertaining heels on Ace's team... I thought The Rock segment was weird as you could see The Rock visibly shaking with anger when Cena came out, and after they both dropped the mics, Rock said Cena should suck expletive deleted. As a bit of an aside, I wonder if Rock now pulls a power play and wins at Mania, just to piss off Cena. Overall, the show went by fast, although I have to question WWE for focusing on the Bella Twins's chests in a backstage segment, A.J. in an abusive(?) relationship, and the Divas wrestling short matches (although Kelly and Eve went longer than Henry and Khali). Other than that, good show.

Matt of Westbrook, Maine auto detailer (9.5): Great Raw. They finally did a great job of selling and building up a PPV, I thought. The promos were great and the video promos were even better. This Raw mattered and had to make WrestleMania 28 the biggest Mania ever, and I think they accomplished it. Additional thoughts in chronological order: I liked the start of Raw with an entertaining tag match - Orton looked strong, Bryan weaseled his way to another win, and Sheamus will take the title at Mania... Santino vs. Otunga was nothing special, even though Santino was way over. Miz made a team, as did Drew McIntyre subbing for a hurt Christian? Weird. Too bad Del Rio and Barrett are injured... Punk dismantling Christian was a good way to show that Punk has finally reached his limit with Jericho. The story keeps evolving and I keep liking it... The Funkasaurus looked good. His matches are short, but his in-ring presence can't be overlooked. They need to keep evolving his character... It's too bad the Tag Titles aren't worth defending at Mania. I want to see Big Show win the IC Title, and Rhodes was great on the mic, which added to their feud... Mark Henry is a beast. I think he's healthy again after winning a quick squash. Also, Booker saved the end of that post-match segment. It got sloppy there for a minute... I thought Rock and Cena were both great on the mic. Very entertaining and very strong comments made by each. This feud has come as far as it can without these two wrestling each other. The stage has been set for one of the greatest matches in Mania history. Everything leading up to it has been good, if not great. Cannot wait!
