TNA Impact "Destination X" Reax

Joe Ward of Raleigh, N.C. (8.0): Best Match: Hardys vs. Wolves Worst: Second X Division Qualifier. I tuned in just for the Hards and Wolves, but found myself watching the entire show, and being entertained more than I have by any show, by any promotion in months. TNA did a lot right - clean finishes, strong in-ring action telling the story, focus on the titles, limited backstage skits (short and very effective like Angle talking to Joe), and GREAT use of non-roster talent - something I would love to see more of. WWE and TNA have cultivated an image of Pro Wrestling consisting of maybe 70 guys that you see each week on TV - Impact expanded that world to show some very good non-TV regulars, and I hope it continues. Best of all, there was no bad comedy, or excessive talking segments. The respect shown between the Hardys-Wolves, and even Roode-Austin added to the feel of a legitimate "sporting event" - Face vs. Face can, and should work, when properly booked like last night. And, finally, (and I can't believe I'm saying this) Bobby Lashley is the right guy, at the right time, and I'm buying into his "Silent but Deadly" Championship Run - he looks very credible, and Austin made him look fantastic.

Cheshire_13, PWTorch reader: Destination X was better than I thought it would be. The right people won tonight with the exception of the Sanada-Brian Cage-Crazzy Steve match. One thing that did catch my eye was the scrambled letter teaser for a new wrestler. Problem: It's not a man. It's a woman, and I think it's Jessicka Havok. The spiked gas mask is definitely her thing and if she's coming to the Knockouts, all hell is gonna break loose. All in all, Destination X was a good show tonight.

O. Smith, PWTorch reader (Solid 8.5): Simple formula of less talking + hot crowd + more in-ring action = entertaining TV. The opening tag was really well done. Hats off to all four men. The main event was entertaining. I think Lashley has been a great champ so far.
