QUESTION OF THE DAY: If you are a WWE Network subscriber, how often do you watch the Network in a typical week? Only for a specific show like the Raw pre-game, Main Event, or NXT? Do you randomly turn on the Network to see what's on? Are you watching more or less than when you first subscribed?

JARED IN TACOMA, WASH., PWTORCH SUBSCRIBER: I watch WWE Network more than ten hours a week, most weeks. Usually going into old PPVs from WWF and WCW, reading old Torch issues on my phone as I watch. It's become one of my favorite things to do. NXT is a refreshing hour of wrestling and I watch every PPV live on the Network with a half-dozen or better friends. Old Clashes and MSG shows are also in my "queue" so to speak.

I wish the Monday Night War series was better and more objective. Some of the footage they show is awesome, but these too suffer from the same thing their DVD biography's have. They only portray the WWE side of whatever biased point they want to make. I was excited for it at first, but feel kind of jipped.

The idea that WWE Network exists still excites me. Its the biggest on demand library of pro wrestling there is and its only $10. I'd still subscribe for the library alone, even if they made it $30 a month tomorrow. I understand fully the type of fan that I am is in the top 5 percent of nerd wrestling fans. It would be hard to see the day that i personally don't subscribe to the network. That being said WWE has to provide more fresh content and more expansive library to keep/add subscribers in the other 95 percent

SETH BERGER OF HAMMOND, IND. REPLIES: I've been a subscriber to the WWE Network since Week 3 and I am satisfied with my purchase. I've long given up on buying PPVs that are not WrestleMania because of the "one-match card" nature of the shows. I must say they've done a better job of treating PPVs as more than "just Raw on Sunday" the past few months. They've done a good job of letting those of us that have given up on Raw & Smackdown entirely to remind us with an e-mail, "Hey! A PPV is coming up this Sunday!"

Another fun way of thinking: as a former tape trader from the days when you traded videos with others in order to watch ECW events you could not see locally (not to mention all the PPVs I've recorded since the Wrestling Classic), the Network is like my video cassette "storage shed." I no longer have to dig into my collection to find a tape, then go through the trouble of fast-forwarding it to the right moment or match; the Network is more reliable and there's no worry about having your tape chewed up. (The main thing I don't like is the music dub-over that would have Paul Heyman explaining the storyline of the next match, was nice that ECW wanted to show why you're paying to see Mikey Whipwreck vs. Justin Credible...again. But, that's a small nit to pick.)

I've gone from watching the Network 3-4 times a week to just saving it for a couple of hours on the weekends I have free. I'll watch the first couple of hours of new PPVs, or if something grabs my attention (old DVD documentary re-release or a certain show), I'll spend my Saturday night before bed viewing it. I liked Legends House, it was fun "shut your brain off for an hour" entertainment. The Legends Of Wrestling are always interesting; sitting under the learning tree with some of the greatest minds of all-time (and Michael Hayes). I would love for more episodes with different guests every week. Cost-efficient and simple. (Without Jim Ross around trumpeting his mentor, maybe Bill Watts could actually get in a couple words this time.)

I'm disappointed in the lack of updated episodes of ECW Hardcore TV, WCCW, and WWE Old School; those are definitely throwback moments from a time when you could lose yourself in the moment and not feel wrestling has lost its way. I would also enjoy Prime Time or other shows where Gorilla Monsoon was on the call; he built up every match as if the fate of the world resided on who won or lost. Not just the main-eventers, but even opening card matches between perennial jobbers Mike Shaw and Jim Powers had long-term ramifications. I loved that as a kid and still do to this day. It's an easy way to get people interested in your product: if your announcers care, then in turn more fans will care as well. If your treat the match as a throwaway moment, then they will grab the clickers and find something else that inspires their curiosity.
