As announced on the Main Listing earlier this month, we introduced a new feature as we kicked of an exciting 2009 at PWTorch VIP... Vintage Audio Torch Talks.

The first is a 68 minute "Torch Talk" from 16 years ago this month with "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith. This has never been published in any format online before, and never in audio format. VIP members are hearing this historical interview for the first time ever this month.

This special feature will be available one month at a time, and not part of the permanent archives. You must be a current member to get the current featured Vintage Audio Torch Talk, and it will be replaced early each month with another Vintage Audio Torch Talk.

I full on idolized the Bulldog back when I was growing up and it was sad to hear him trying to defend his steroid use - "I know people who have taken steroids for 25 years and they're fine." Also after reading in Bret Hart's book about his condition leading into SummerSlam '92, it was interesting and sad to hear him say he was taking painkillers and "other things." All in all, absolutely fantastic and I look forward to the following months' editions.
