-Charlie Haas

Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit were also on the list of WWE-contract customers.

Officials say numerous names of NFL and MLB pro athletes will also emerge.

The specific drugs being prescribed are not identified in the New York Daily News article.

The WWE has insisted that it randomly tests its 180 athletes at least four times a year. But its program has been criticized by a number of people, including David Black, the president of Aegis Sciences, a laboratory in Nashville that runs the WWE's testing program. "The intention is not to punish, but to get them [the wrestlers] to engage in a different lifestyle," Black said in a July story in the New York Times.

KELLER ANALYSIS: The dates of the time they were customers has not been reported yet. WWE's Wellness Policy was instituted in February 2006. A WWE contracted performer would not be suspended for being a customer before that date. There could be other names that have not been released that are actually suspended, while many of these performers may have been customers pre-dating the WWE policy against prescriptions acquired via the Internet.
