9/10 WWE Raw HOLT report: What the crowd in Green Bay saw that TV viewers didn't Sep 11, 2007 - 12:59:36 AM
WWE Raw HOLT report
September 10, 2007
Green Bay, Wisc.
Report by David Norby, PWTorch VIP member
Just got back from the show at Green Bay's Resch Center here are some quick notes.
DARK MATCHES
(1) Val Venis defeated Jay Bradley with the money shot in about six minutes.
(2) The Highlanders defeated Local Wrestlers: J-Cash (Introduced as Jason Cash) & (Former ACW Champion, the company where Mr. Kennedy started) Adrian Lynch in about 5 minutes
They shot a bunch of t-shirts off, none in my area.
(3) Super Crazy defeated Daivari in about 5 minutes
(4) Candice Michelle defeated Melina in about 5 minutes
Lillian Garcia sang the national anthem.
RAW WENT LIVE: NOTES
Sandman walked down in my aisle and i got to briefly pat his shoulder which was kind of cool.
Crowd attendance was way bigger I think than the Raw in May of 2005.
Crowd chanted for Kennedy all night, and was very dissapointed he was not there.
Batista's pyro scared the crap out of every one in the arena as everyone thought the pyro was done after Hardy's entrance.
POST-RAW DARK MATCH
(1) John Cena defeated Randy Orton in 1 minute 30 Seconds
Crowd booed Cena on all the videos but heavily cheered him during the dark match
They showed a Maria In-Ring Kiss-Cam Segment, Jeff Hardy video, and a WWE Desire Video with clips of Jay Leno in WCW suprisingly.
Lougest Pops - Triple H, John Cena, Jeff Hardy, Batista (Mr. Kennedy would have got the biggest if he was there)
Overall, a very fun show to be live. Not sure how it came off on TV, with the PPV buildup, but a way better show to be at live than the one in May of 2005.
QUICK TIPS FOR SENDING RESULTS
If you attend an arena event in future, either house shows or TV tapings, we encourage you to send us a report for publication. You can direct your reports to "matchresults07" (@pwtorch. com).
We accept reports in any format, but if it's not much trouble, please format your report like you see above, with the matches numbered like this (1) , (2) , (3) , with the opening line of each match paragraph stating who beat whom (don't just say Wrestler A vs. Wrestler beat with the result listed later; instead, state up front who won so those readers who don't have time to read the entire report (i. e. their boss walks past their cubicle all the time looking beat their shoulder) can at least quickly assess the results.
Also, please list tag teams using the "&" symbol as opposed to stating "and. " Reserve use of " and" when listing results in a three-way or four-way match where there are no teams (i. e. " Wrestler A beat Wrestler B and Wrestler C in a three-way match" ) so it is easy to differentiate a handicap match from a three-way match.
If you know HTML coding for bolding, you can also bold out the first line of each match description. If you don't know HTML symbols, then we can add those ourselves.
Special thanks to everyone who helps us with reports on live events!
