11/26 WWE Raw HOLT report #2: What Orton told Jericho after Raw went off the air Nov 27, 2007 - 2:48:22 PM
WWE Raw HOLT report
November 26, 2007
Charlotte, N.C. at Bobcats Arena
Report by Michael Carpenter of Rock Hill, S.C., PWTorch.com reader
I atteneded the live Raw show at Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlotte last night. It was my first time at the new downtown Charlotte arena, and wow, it is nice. The video/scoreboards that hang from the ceilingĀ are huge. The screens are about as big if not bigger than the titantron screen. Seats are comfortable, and security is on top of things big time. Way better than the old Charlotte Coliseum.
As for the show, the crowd was very hot up until after the Flair promo. Tons of "Woooos" even out in the parking lot going to the arena. I guess the crowd was a little spent after the big pyro opening, followed by the Triple H & Jeff Hardy tag match, and then following with the big return of Flair.
After the show went off the air, Orton accepted Y2J's challenge for a title match at Armageddon. The arena was packed on the floor and lower bowl. The upper deck was full on the TV side, but the other third-thirds or so was tarped off.
BIGGEST POPS
1. Ric Flair
2. Triple H
3. Jeff Hardy
4. Y2J
5. The guy shooting free Hardy t-shirts into the crowd.
MOST HEEL HEAT
1. Vince McMahon
2. Randy Orton
3. Umaga (distant third)
Nobody else really got big heel heat. Overall, it was agreat live experience, and can't wait for the next show. No return date was announced though.
QUICK TIPS FOR SENDING RESULTS
If you attend an arena event in future, either house shows or TV tapings, we encourage you to send us a report for publication. You can direct your reports to "matchresults07" (@pwtorch. com).
We accept reports in any format, but if it's not much trouble, please format your report like you see above, with the matches numbered like this (1) , (2) , (3) , with the opening line of each match paragraph stating who beat whom (don't just say Wrestler A vs. Wrestler beat with the result listed later; instead, state up front who won so those readers who don't have time to read the entire report (i. e. their boss walks past their cubicle all the time looking beat their shoulder) can at least quickly assess the results.
Also, please list tag teams using the "&" symbol as opposed to stating "and. " Reserve use of " and" when listing results in a three-way or four-way match where there are no teams (i. e. " Wrestler A beat Wrestler B and Wrestler C in a three-way match" ) so it is easy to differentiate a handicap match from a three-way match.
If you know HTML coding for bolding, you can also bold out the first line of each match description. If you don't know HTML symbols, then we can add those ourselves.
Special thanks to everyone who helps us with reports on live events!
