Raw News: Bret Hart advertised for Raw on Monday, but will it happen? (w/Keller's Reax) Dec 7, 2007 - 1:41:47 AM
Bret Hart is listed in the TiVo guide, according to PWTorch VIP member Bob B., as being part of the list of dignitaries attending Raw on Monday. He is not, though, listed on anything more current and authoritative, such as WWE.com or on-air plugs. So either that was the plan or hope at one time on the part of WWE when that was submitted, the deal was made and fell through, or WWE has decided to make it a surprise.
Keller's Analysis: Bret would be the main name from the past missing from the list of top Raw headliners. Rock is right there with him, but with Austin there, that era is represented. Bret was such a huge part of so many of the earlier Raws, it'd be fitting to have him in attendance for the 15th Anniversary. That said, every appearance he makes for WWE chips away at his one-time committment to never do anything for Vince McMahon again due to the Survivor Series Double-Cross and his feelings about the circumstances and reaction to Owen Hart's death.
