Interview Highlights: Steve Austin talks about breaking into wrestling, NASCAR, being an icon, monster trucks Dec 7, 2007 - 2:22:26 PM
Steve Austin was interviewed by Clarence Black on the Sean Baligian morning show on WDFN. Austin talks about whether it's ever too early to drink beer, fighting with siblings over watching pro wrestling in Houston, his first jobs doing manual labor, his decision to get into pro wrestling, falling in love with NASCAR last year, and reveal that he does not get up and the morning and declare to himself "It's great to be an icon."
When asked about getting in the ring again to wrestle, he said: "I think you've mostly likely seen the last of me in the ring."
On his future: "After 15 years I feel good right now and I want to feel good in another 15 years." He said he wants to focus his energy in another direction - acting.
He said he has a long-term contract with the company, will be on Raw on Monday, and has two more movies left on his three-movie deal with WWE Films.
