Mayweather News: Jim Rome endorses Mayweather vs. Big Show, says he was wrong to condemn it Feb 26, 2008 - 3:34:10 PM
PWTorch.com reader Andre Polizzi of San Jose, Calif. sent the following report on Jim Rome's take on the WWE Mayweather-Big Show angle...
Jim Rome spent five minutes on his nationally syndicated radio show this morning giving his two "takes" on Floyd Mayweather signing to take on Big Show at WWE's WrestleMania.
The gist of the first take was Rome saying he was wrong saying that Mayweather shouldn't be getting involved with WWE. If WWE wants to scratch Mayweather a check for 20 million bucks for a few minutes of acting, more power to him and he should do it.
The second take was Rome's prediction on how the "people in the WWE writers room" will write a winning ending for Mayweather. They will probably go with the same ending as that scene in the movie "The Princess Bride" where Wesley jumps on Fezzik's (Andre the Giant) back and puts a sleeper hold on him to take him out.
