WWE News: Mayweather vs. Big Show planning not going well, Triple H assigned task of fixing it Mar 30, 2008 - 6:00:17 PM
WWE officials in charge of working out the Big Show vs. Floyd Mayweather match are not optimistic about how it will turn out. Although the booking of the "no-DQ" match is designed to cover for Mayweather's inexperience in such a setting, the word coming from those working with Mayweather is that he's learning slower than anyone anticipated how to take part in the worked atmosphere of the match. Triple H has been assigned the task of trying to save the match from being a disaster by working closely with Show and Mayweather on the planning of it.
Keller Analysis This is something that should have been worked out two or three weeks ago, including dress rehearsals. Apparently when Mayweather said "the match is not planned" when he was on Larry King Live taped two weeks ago, he wasn't kidding. Triple H has worked enough with John Cena and Randy Orton to not have to spend a ton of time planning that out, but the fact that he's been assigned the task of trying to coordinate Show-Mayweather really says something about the challenge they're facing.
