WrestleMania News: Flair tribute, Fireworks incident on PPV footage, Orlando again in 2010, ESPN fans react Mar 31, 2008 - 1:50:55 PM
-PWTorch.com reader Adam Lebow writes: Thought it may be worth noting that you can see the fireworks incident on the left to upper-left side of the screen when Undertaker is holding the belt up at the end of the show. Just watch the streamers come down and you will see one or two definitely not go far enough when the cable breaks.
-PWTorch.com reader Steve Bogucki of Tampa, Fla. writes: I attended the entire FAN AXXESS tour event prior to the beginning of Wrestlemania 24. During the event, one of its hosts, Hillbilly Jim, remarked that WrestleMania was returning to Orlando, Florida in 2010. Jimmy Hart, another host, quickly reacted and made it clear that this was NOT supposed to be revealed. However, with the "cat out of the back," Hart began an "Again in 2010" chant. It seems like WrestleMania will be back in Orlando in 2010.
-In case you haven't seen it yet, the boxing page at ESPN.com features Floyd Mayweather with a sleeper hold on Big Show. The lead sentence says: "Floyd Mayweather's knockout win over The Big Show at WrestleMania XXVI lived up to the billing." In the reader comments area, one wrote: "Wow, ESPN actually treated this as a legit fight. The fact that there was even a WWE clip on here to begin with surprised me. But, Wrestlemania was great. Good entertainment." Said another: "Mayweather vs De La Hoya II will be a lot faker than this... i.e. Mayweather will toy with De La Hoya to make the fight look good so he can set up Mayweather-Hoya III and get yet another pay day!"
-Jason Powell is reporting at prowrestling.NET that there will be a Ric Flair Retirement Ceremony tonight on Raw. For more details, click here
