-The table that Shawn Michaels crashed onto was not prepped for the bump. There was miscommunication. They actually do remove some support from the announce tables if wrestlers are planning to land on them and it's supposed to collapse. Michaels expected the table to collapse when he landed on it.
-Three people were hospitalized from the fireworks malfunction; none had serious burns or injuries. The company in charge of the pyro at WrestleMania is the same company that WWE uses for Raw and Smackdown. They were back to business as usual at the tapings tonight and last night. The method used to shoot fireworks on a string to make it appear to be sailing through the air is used at Raw and Smackdown regularly without problem, but the outdoor set up and larger setting may have led to one of the cables not being as secure as it typically would have been.
-Test was backstage this weekend as a guest of his girlfriend, Kelly Kelly. As previously noted, the only other non-WWE wrestler with backstage access all weekend was TNA's Kevin Nash. He attended WrestleMania, but not the Hall of Fame.
-Kurt Angle did show up at a TGI Fridays with a camera crew for a reality documentary series he's taking part in. WWE wrestlers were panicked that they'd be caught on camera after what happened with Robbie McAllister at the TNA Impact tapings.
-Tickets were still being sold for WrestleMania the day of the show, but sources say the legit attendance was 70,000-plus.
-Dusty Rhodes filmed his vignette tribute to Ric Flair backstage at Raw on Monday, but a number of people were curious about his absence from the in-ring ceremony with Flair at the end of the show, as it seemed he would have been a natural person to be standing mid-ring with Flair given his history with him.
-Monday's Raw's audience level was up about 10 percent, to 5.5 million viewers, for the post-WrestleMania and Ric Flair tribute. Quarter hour ratings should be available tomorrow.
